Siân & Ben

Sian & Ben’s village hall wedding was a fun and relaxed day exactly as they planned. They based everything in the village where Ben grew up.  Holding their wedding ceremony in the church followed by the reception in the village hall.

Their focus was all about having the people there that meant the most to them and providing them with plenty of lovely food and top quality drink from the brewery’s they work for. No one went thirsty, no one went hungry and even better than that all the food was originally waste food.  They really admire what Surplus2Purpose do so asked them to make the huge trek south to cater their wedding. I think a lot of people were surprised as it was just so delicious.

The village pulled together for the event of the year, flowers were grown to decorate the tables, the hall was decorated and even a beautiful vintage car was provided by one kind villager.  It was a labour of love……and I absolutely loved it.

Everyone could relax and enjoy the day without lots of formality, there was some epic Pass The Pigs battles, crackin’ dance moves and much merriment! The sun even put in an appearance after days of heavy rain!
