Helen & Geoff were never going to be those people who had a traditional wedding, for them it was about having a relaxed wedding where everyone could enjoy themselves. They set about finding the perfect venue for the right atmosphere and hit gold with Bennetts Willow Barn. A hidden gem of a place, when you drive in there you would never believe a place like this could possibly be waiting for you.
Helen & Geoff have the most wonderful love story, set over many years. First meeting through work a long time ago, the fireworks were real but the timing just didn’t end up being right for them. Their paths then crossed many years later…..but this time the timing was perfect and they very quickly realised this was fate!
They truly are perfect for each other. Helen is a bubbly source of spontaneous adventures and Geoff balances her when she gets a little crazy……not that he’s not one for crazy times!!
I’ll be honest….I did fall a little bit in love with Helen myself, I liken her to a sunbeam, spreading light to everyone around her. Whatever she is going through nothing is blocking that light and it is quite wonderful to bathe in it. I can absolutely see why Geoff wants to spend the rest of his life with her (Don’t worry Geoff, you are a total catch too!).
The day was so relaxed and fun, the drinks were flowing and they definitely know how to party. Those who weren’t the dancing sort were relaxing outside and catching up. The toastie van was an absolute hit (Please can we have this at all weddings now!).
Oh and ANY couple who names their tables after amusing places gets my vote…..I was in Shitterton…..in case you were wondering!
