Candids, candids and more candids is how I would sum up my shooting of this day! Lisa and William held their festival inspired wedding in The Field at Hollybeds in Worcestershire over the course of three days.
Day one was a nifty little registry office affair….to make things legal.
Day two was the celebrant led wedding and day one of festival madness.
Day three was another full action packed day of festival fun. I was the photographer just for day three as William had a friend who is a professional photographer who was shooting the other two days for them.
When I rocked up in the morning on day three I could see it had been a LOT of fun the day before. A few people were slowly getting ready for the day and there was a very relaxed vibe. Partially due to a not insignificant number of shots being consumed the day before. Soon folks were gathering for the first activity of the day. A Falconry display from the amazing Walks With Hawks
They had some amazing birds that they were flying, from owls to a Peregrine Falcon and they even brought out their Eagle (Although he was not flying). The guests had a great introduction to the birds and really enjoyed handling them.
Next up everyone got themselves painted and sparkled by the talented ladies from Flambe Circus before the bands started up!
The line-up of bands was both eclectic and excellent. You had some acoustic goodness from Kristian Rolfe and Poppy.
Followed by all out energy from Capas Music.
Then there were some Irish standards being played by the fabulous Amhran.
What next……Oooh of course Meat Loaf Tribute Act MeatLoud.
Then the uncannily similar Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute Act , The Really Hot Chili Peppers Â
Then signing off the night (Sadly after I had left) the Oasis Tribute Act, Faker MakerÂ
As if all that was not entertainment enough there was also a Circus Skills Workshop AND Fire show from Flambe Circus.
WOW!
What a day!!
Especially when you chuck in a mega thunderstorm just to spice things up. Â
Kudos to Boho Bell Tents & Bar, Buffets Our Business, The Arden Pig Company and Big Top Mania for being top notch suppliers and adding the perfect touches to this amazing day.
