I do love a London wedding, there’s just something special about the hustle and bustle of a city. Katie and Chris’s Star Wars Themed Wedding in Old Marylebone Town Hall was everything I loved.

Taking place on 5th May their “Revenge of the Fifth” wedding in the heart of Marylebone in London packed in so many wonderful personal details.
They wanted to keep it low key with personal touches including some nods to Star Wars, Harry Potter and other fabulous films.
Their ceremony was held at Old Marylebone Town Hall where their brilliant registrars conducted an extremely personalised Dr Zeus inspired service and Katie and Chris even had a sand ceremony. It’s so lovely to see more couples putting their personalities in to their ceremonies.
Afterwards we all took a short walk to Thornbury Castle, a pub tucked away in a side street and packed full of atmosphere. The staff pulled out all the stops to make sure it looked how Chris and Katie envisaged. They also made sure everyone felt relaxed and had lots of delicious Spanish inspired food to eat.
Of course Katie and Chris had to include a movie inspired quiz which had us all scratching our heads….these two are definite film buffs.
Then out of nowhere a lightsaber fight broke out as the newlyweds battled their way to the cake cutting. Chris’s colleague absolutely smashed the cake making…..Katie was a little bit sad about having to cut it!
I just loved this relaxed wedding in bustling London. Holed up in a pub full of fabulous people. Their little wedding “The Winchester”, a small corner of relative calm as the outside world carried on around them!
