I know she mentioned although she had been to the location before, it had changed so much since that she took the time, having arrived early, to do a walk round the outside to scout good spots to go back to later on. For having done a loop of the block where we got married you’d of thought we scoured the city for hours looking for locations to take our pictures.
Her understanding and dedication to photography shows in her work. Photos taken early November with dreary daylight and grey clouds have never looked so beautiful. We have so many photos and memories to cherish forever thanks to her.

Execution of the plans shows in the photos taken, we have so many fantastic photos with and of our guests, some of whom we don’t get to see very often. So many incredible photos of us as a couple and of course Penny the dog!
We’ve had so many comments from our guests on the day that she just simply did not stop. Every time I saw someone take their phone out for a photo she would magically pop up behind their shoulder and take photos too. From the moment I came across her work I knew she would be the photographer for us!”
“I’m sure she gets this a lot but believe me when I say I’m awkward in front of the camera and I hate all photos of me, but sassy managed to make me feel this confidence I never knew I had, she is calming yet assertive and directs you so subtly for the perfect shot.
I had a bit of a moment before the ceremony and Sassy was so calm and reassuring, she gave me a little pep talk which helped so much with my nerves, she made me feel like I’d known her for years.
Everyone was commenting throughout the day how awesome she was and how relaxed she made everyone feel.
I thought the couple shots would be the most awkward thing but honestly the way Sassy talks to you and reads your body language was completely the opposite, she made climbing the rocks on a pier in a wedding dress with random strangers watching feel completely normal.
Then there’s the photos, they are the most perfect representation of our day, I couldn’t have asked her to do any more, she got all the details of everything we worked hard at, all the little handmade details that I didn’t think anyone would notice.
The evening shots and the candids are perfect and when it comes to the couple shots, there’s not one awkward looking photo of me, which I was sure there would be a few 😂 but she really captured our love and emotions for each other and all of our guests throughout the day.

Fast forward to last year when my now husband proposed and the first person I contacted was Sassy!
The process of booking the package we wanted on the website was very straightforward and we knew exactly what we were going to get in exchange. During the first few emails Sassy was asking a lot of questions about us as a couple, our love story and what we are like as people.
Closer to the date we had an extensive call to arrange the final details and discuss any particular shots we wanted to get. The day of the wedding came and Sassy was everything we needed and more! We have 2 young children and we wanted to make sure we had plenty of shots of the kids getting ready with us as well as capturing their cheeky sides.
Sassy was very friendly with them and patient and even though my 3yo was not fully cooperating, she managed to get some amazing shots!
Nothing was too much trouble, she put us all at ease and even helped out with some of the wedding logistics when I got frazzled.
Our shoot in Digbeth was absolutely phenomenal. Sassy has such a great eye for detail as well as setting the scene and telling a story. Some of the candid/party photos we’ve seen are absolutely brilliant and capture the vibe of our wedding perfectly!
