Steph & Gez
This was a real wedding for dog lovers……which as you’ll probably know I am!!
Steph and Gez absolutely adore heir pack so it was no surprise that their three gorgeous dogs were the guests of honour at their wedding. In fact Steph even refers to B (The pup in the picture above) as her emotional support dog and I can absolutely understand why…..I mean just look at that face!
Steph and Gez are the sort of couple that just are an unstoppable force for good. Steph runs an animal charity (Jackson’s Animal Rescue….check it out and donate if you can, they do amazing work!) and Gez who is a builder by trade works really hard to keep up with Steph’s boundless energy and new ideas on how to raise money. He works full time and then when home works even more making Steph’s rescue dreams a reality.
The thing about these two is that they don’t really want a fuss about them…..they put everyone and everything else first. Which obviously does make a wedding day a bit daunting at times when you sort of have to be a bit of a focus. They navigated this perfectly and kept their day relaxed and guest focused.
After the outdoor ceremony each guest had their own picnic box to enjoy with drinks in the garden and despite a storm trashing parts of the country that weekend they had glorious sunshine for their day. Perfect for a lazy picnic in the garden.
After everyone had time to relax they all headed inside ready for the first dance….and more food. Steph and Gez took the extremely surprising move to choreograph a first dance to their song, ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’. To say the guests were shocked was an understatement, literally no one but them, myself and the DJ knew. They absolutely smashed it!
One dream Steph always had was to have a mosh pit at her wedding…….so of course she got her mosh pit! So much fun!
