Bex & Phill

On a misty, atmospheric day in October 2015 (24th) I arrived in Buttermere…..excited for Bex and Phill’s chilled out Tipi wedding by the lake. I was not disappointed. It was every bit as beautiful as I thought it would be.

I know a lot of couples would have been a little concerned about pulling off a festival style wedding in The Lake District at the tail end of October but boy oh boy did these guys smash it!

"It’s been really fun looking back over the photos, any excuse really, and having wave after wave of fond memories come back.

Going through, we were smiling, laughing and reminiscing about little things that happened around when certain photos were taken, seeing our friends and family so happy on that amazing day back in 2015.

At times it was bittersweet, seeing people who are no longer with us, smiling and laughing, enjoying the day.

The weather changing from raining before we went into the church, to it breaking and having an amazing sky set against the beautiful landscape, which Sassy captured perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect photographer, who managed to capture the day so well and we will forever be grateful to her for the beautiful memories."
