Lois and Tom
Lois and Tom’s Arley House and Gardens wedding was such a special day. They actually started it by getting married in a beautiful service at Lois’s church, The Ebenezer Baptist Church, where both her pastor and Tom’s family pastor shared the service between them. It was lovely to see the coming together of two families and churches for this lovely couple.
They then stayed in the church with their guests for some food and drink, kindly made and served by members of the church. That really tells me how much Lois and her family are valued in their church. There were smiles all round and everyone was really relaxed which was really lovely to be part of.
After the church they headed to their reception over at Arley House and Gardens. It is such a stunning venue, I just loved the grounds and especially the arboreatum which we were lucky enough to explore at dusk!
If some of you reading this are thinking that the lovely Lois looks familiar…..well if you have had your dress made by The Couture Company in the last few years then you will probably have met Lois. Sadly Tom has now stolen her away for an exciting new life but it was such an honour to see her marry her man. I have heard snippets about Tom and seen the misty look in her eye as she talked about him. It was clear how much she loves him and now I have had the pleasure of meeting him I can absolutely see why. He is a lovely man and together they make the most wonderful team. I won’t lie, seeing her beaming all day did fill me with joy! Oh and LOOK at that absolutely stunning dress she made for herself, classic and beautiful just like her.
