Tom & Jess's Wedding
"Tom and Jess's amazing 60's Mod themed wedding actually won my competition on here and I was really looking forward to the big day.
The reception was in the East Anglian Railway Museum which was the place that Blur payed their first ever gig....part of the reason for Jess's love of the place!
Inside the old goods shed they had an original carriage which had been wonderfully decorated by the oh so amazing Becky from a most curious party. The main bulk of the decorating in the shed was sone by the Tom and his friends on the morning of the wedding so Jess could relax (how lovely is that!). On each table there where pictures of them with their family and friends in wonderful decorated photoframes made by Jess. The favours were jars of jam made by Tom'sand Jess's fair hands....it took a LOT of strawberries and I am sure they are quite sick of jam now!
Jess, who's an artist, showcased her amazing work in the carriage and even created one of the best things I have ever seen at a wedding.....a graffiti board for all their friends to deface/scribble on. Jess's amazing dress was hand crafted by her Aunt, I have to say she did a wonderful job.
In the evening they had a Beatles tribute band called Like the Beatles who were absolutely incredible. Half way through they had a break and an outfit change during which time, totally unbeknown to anyone, the grooms father also had an outfit change...decked out in full Sgt Peppers outfit he reappeared much to the surprise and delight of everyone around him!!
The whole day was absolutely wonderful and I am so thrilled I had the opportunity to attend."
Their testimonial is now in the testimonial section...why not check it out. I am thrilled to report that Jess and Tom's grooooovy 60's mod wedding has been featured on the wonderful blog site LoveMyDress.....check it out by clicking here
