Welcome to Kate and Dan’s beautiful vintage wedding at the Queen’s Hotel in Cheltenham.
It’s hard to put in to words how special Kate and Dan’s wedding was on Saturday. It’s always emotional hearing a couple promise to be with each other through all the tests of life but even more so when you know that couple have already honoured their promises before they even said “I do”!
Kate and Dan have been together 23 years and have two absolutely beautiful daughters together. Ava, their youngest, and I bonded right from the first meeting and she was a total star on the day. Paris is every bit the intelligent, beautiful woman her proud parents bragged she was! If you only met these two girls you’d know all you need to about Dan and Kate.
Kate first found my work when a blogger pinned an image of mine and she hunted me down from there…..only to find that I actually only lived up the road….fate!!
As I mentioned they chose the beautiful Queens Hotel in Cheltenham for their celebration but wanted to take in a few fave spots so we all jumped in their amazing wedding car from Kushi Cars and pootled around town. First stop an antique shop they love, next a pizza restaurant that used to be a music venue where they attended their first gig and finally the record shop where Dan spends many hours searching for treasured vinyl.
Just as the evening guests arrived and night started to set in they surprised their guests with an incredible Chinese Lion Dance….it utterly blew my mind!!

So what can I say about Holly and Gary’s stylish wedding in Witney, Oxfordshire….well….it was beautiful.
I had the pleasure of watching two lovely friends get married but also the honour of being their photographer. Holly and Gary really are amazing together. As individuals they are both pretty different but their differences seem to balance out perfectly and I have to say…..as a couple they are even better than they are individually!!
I always thought shooting their day would be tough…..you see Gary has a very keen eye (artistically speaking) and he knows what he likes but thankfully we seem to see the world in a similar way (well if not I guess we’ll find out after these sneak peeks are up hey Gary!! Lol!!) but actually they both were so easy going on the day they just made it a dream (*phew*).
Holly got married in her parents home, the home she grew up in, surrounded by reminders of her youth. I felt it made it more symbolic, preparing to set off on her new adventure.
They chose to get married at the church where Holly’s parents married (which made it even more special) before heading to Witney Lakes for the reception. Opting for a low key vibe they chose to have a BBQ for their wedding breakfast….which was delicious.
As I mentioned Gary is a pretty creative guy and used to be the front man for the UK’s leading Blur tribute band Blurred so he certainly has strong creative vibes. With this in mind we opted for edgier couple shots and headed out on an adventure to some local spots that others may never think of for pictures.
Special thanks to Trevor and Mary (Holly’s parents) who not only have been an inspiration to Holly all these years but who have kept my hubby gainfully employed as well as treating him like a son. P.S. Sorry Trev for making you pose for the camera 🙂

Jess and Guy had an amazing, romantic Winter wedding in Oxford….my home city!!
It’s not often I work so locally so it was really lovely to head over to the dreaming spires for their gorgeous, romantic Winter wedding.
Not many people opt for a Winter wedding but I have to say it suited the feel of their day perfectly and we couldn’t have hoped for better weather.
I for one love a Winter wedding….mostly because I too had a Winter wedding. There is something special about that Winter light that I just adore.
Jess had a gorgeous bespoke dress from The Couture Company Designer wedding gowns (isn’t it a dream!!!) and accessorised with my some butterflies in her hair from my lovely Sister in Law over at Liliia by Vikki Lafford Garside and a shawl and gloves she knitted herself!!
Guy opted for a beautifully fitted tuxedo. I always say not every man can pull off a tux but Guy certainly did!!
These two lovebirds met in Oxford and despite living many miles away now chose to come back to the city to celebrate the friendship and love that began there. They were married at Oxford Town Hall (isn’t it stunning!) and then headed over to the quirky art space The Jam Factory for their celebration.
We of course headed off for couple shots which included grabbing an ice cream as a nod to Guy’s beloved grand mother who sadly couldn’t make the journey over from the States. Then they danced in the street to a busker with a sense of humour (think bridal march followed by the death march!!).
After a delicious meal they hit the dance floor with aplomb…..choosing to Lindyhop to their amazing band The Black Sheikhs (seriously….check them out!!!). It was a day full of tears of joy and just an utter outpouring of love that it made me feel extra lucky that in a week where the news has been dominated by a show of anything but love I get to be part of something so special!!

Well what can I say about Lindsay and Andy’s amazing big day? Firstly, after 14 years together, it’s about bloomin’ time! Secondly it was so much fun.
I think it’s fair to say that Lindsay and Andy don’t take themselves too seriously, and I loved that.
We laughed so much on the day and that is what it should be all about. Laughing, having fun, enjoying every minute. Unlike a lot of weddings it actually felt like for a few hours we slowed down time and were really able to absorb everything.
As Ferris once said “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. “ and these guys somehow found time to stop and enjoy. They had a movie theme for their day and included absolute classics, including Lindsay’s favourite So I Married an Axe Murderer. Love it!! Oh and the blue theme…..well the story goes that Lindsay found some amazing Irregular Choice shoes that she just had to wear and everything came from that….well when you find THE shoes….girl you’ve just gotta roll with it. Anyway enough rambling….please take a moment to look through all the sneak peeks….I guarantee they’ll make you smile!
Thank you so much Lindsay and Andy and all of your lovely friends and family who made me feel really wanted and welcomed me with open arms. The only way that I can finish off is just to leave you with some wise words…………… “Be Excellent To Each Other”

I have no words….this wedding was incredible! Sadie and Aaron literally tied the knot yesterday at Tretower Castle in Brecon, Wales and it was beautiful. They had my lovely friend Ellie of Alternative Ceremonies Uk conducting their handfasting which was totally unique to them.
They even included their gorgeous son Izaiah which made everyone cry!
Aaron told me his kick ass grooms outfit was inspired was inspired by Jonathan Davis from the band Korn’s attire…..I think he nailed it!!
After the ceremony the guests got to partake in some archery, horseshoe throwing and croquet…..all that we were missing was jousting….but I am not sure I would trust those groomsmen jousting 😉 We even managed to do our own take on the Last Supper.
Sadie and Aaron booked the low key The Muse, Brecon for their party as they wanted a blank canvas space where they could really let their hair down. Sadly I missed the dancing but I can imagine it went down big time!! It was a truly amazing day, full of love (the speeches killed me!!) and I was honoured to be a part of it.
