Jennie & James

Yesterday was the beautiful and classicly British wedding of Jennie and James. They were married at the beautiful All Saints Church in Great Barford before moving on to the amazing Moggerhanger Park for their reception.

I first spoke to Jennie a year ago and although I had never met her I had a pretty good idea of what she would be like. Excited, bubbly and just so full of energy…..I wasn’t wrong. From the minute I arrived at prep she laughed and grinned through the whole day. And what a day it was!
Jennie and James had thought of everything, from the amazing saxophinist, to the games between courses to the epic DJ’s (seriously they knew how to get the party started).

I can imagine that the guests partied right through to the end….when I left the dance floor was jumping!!
Thank you so much Jennie and James for a wonderful day. I do also have to give extra special thanks to Jennie’s parents Howard and Wendy for making me feel so welcomed from the very first minute I arrived. Finally thanks to the wonderful staff at Moggerhanger Park, I really hope I get to visit you again!

Rosie & Tom

Some weddings are like a gift from the wedding photography gods…..Rosie and Tom’s was one of these.

Gorgeous, fun Bride and Groom…..check!

A lovely little dog……check!! (Bodhi rules!!)

A light and bright venue with gorgeous surroundings……check! (This may well be my new favourite venue).

A brilliant wedding planner who ensured everything ran to plan…..check! (Suzanne from RSVP Wedding was amazing) and a kick ass band who got the dance floor jumping…check!! (You NEED Stealing Whiskey in your life!).

I know this is a bit gushing but I really have no words for how brilliant it was. I had a fantastic time and I LOVED our couple shoot adventure and all our inappropriate jokes and laughter!!

I am not going to say much because I feel like you should just check out the photo’s…….. Thank you so much Rosie and Tom for a truly incredible day xxx

Emma and James Got Married ~ A Preview 11.04.15

Last weekend I went on an adventure to Aberdeen. Never having been to Aberdeen I wasn’t sure what to expect as I climbed in my car for the 1000 mile roundtrip……it was amazing!!

I love Aberdeen, the people were really friendly and Emma and James’s wedding was so chilled and brilliant. I can’t believe how much sunshine they had….they were very lucky.

They were married in the gorgeous winter gardens in Duthrie Park and then carried on the celebrations a short walk away at the Inn on the Park. I have to mention the staff at the Inn on the Park, so friendly and helpful…..brilliant!!

It was quite an intimate wedding with around 40 guests and Emma opted for a stunning blue gown, well she did describe herself as a non-bridey bride in her emails to me! The day was all about love and laughter……it was perfect.

Thank you so much Emma and James for giving me the opportunity to come to Aberdeen, I hope you have the most wonderful life together and thank you so much to my roadtrip buddy/wing woman Tracey for keeping me sane through the thunderstorms and blizzards on the long drive home yesterday.
